什麼是 Civic？

Civic (CVC) is the utility token of Civic, a decentralized identity platform that lets people verify who they are once and reuse that verification across apps without handing over their personal data each time. Its main product, Civic Pass, issues an on-chain credential that smart contracts and applications can check to gate access, which is useful for projects that need to meet compliance requirements.

CVC launched on Ethereum in 2017 as an ERC-20 token. It is used to pay for identity-verification services and to reward the validators and users who take part in the process. Civic Pass has expanded well beyond Ethereum and is available on Solana and a range of other networks.
