什麼是 Api3？

API3 is a decentralized oracle project that connects real-world data to smart contracts. Instead of relying on third-party middlemen, it lets data providers run their own oracle nodes, called Airnodes, and deliver information to blockchains directly through decentralized APIs known as dAPIs. This first-party approach is meant to make data feeds more transparent and accountable.

API3 is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum that governs the project through a DAO. Holders can stake API3 to take part in governance, help secure the network, and earn staking rewards, with staked tokens also serving as collateral that backs data-feed reliability. The project launched in late 2020.
