什麼是 Autonomi？

Autonomi is a peer-to-peer data network for permanent, private storage. Rather than a blockchain, it uses a distributed hash table to spread encrypted data across spare capacity on everyday devices, from home computers to data centers, with no central servers and no accounts. Data is encrypted on your device before it leaves, and uploads are paid once rather than by subscription. The project ran as the Safe Network for most of its history and rebranded to Autonomi in 2024 ahead of its mainnet launch.

ANT is the network's utility token, used to pay for uploads and to reward node operators who supply storage and bandwidth. The token runs as an ERC-20 on Arbitrum, an Ethereum layer 2, and a share of supply is emitted to operators over a multi-year schedule.
