什麼是 ALEO？

Aleo (ALEO) is a layer-1 blockchain built around zero-knowledge cryptography. It lets developers deploy applications that are private by default, moving smart contract execution off-chain and using zero-knowledge proofs to verify results without exposing the underlying data. The design targets use cases in identity, finance, and gaming where privacy matters.

ALEO is the native coin of the Aleo network. It is used to pay transaction and execution fees, to reward provers who generate the zero-knowledge proofs, and for staking that secures the chain.

Aleo's mainnet launched in September 2024, so it is a relatively young network still building out its ecosystem and developer base. As with any newer layer-1, adoption and tooling are still maturing.
