什么是ZetaChain？

ZetaChain is a layer-1 blockchain designed to connect other networks, including chains like Bitcoin that do not natively run smart contracts. Built with the Cosmos SDK and compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, it lets developers write applications that can move value and data across several blockchains from a single place.

The ZETA token launched alongside the network's mainnet in February 2024. It pays for transaction fees and gas, secures the chain through staking, and gives holders a vote in governance. ZETA is issued on ZetaChain itself and on Ethereum, and also trades on BNB Chain. More recently the project has extended its focus toward connecting applications with AI models.
