CommonWealth is the blockchain token of Commonwealth Union, a project that aims to build an economic network across Commonwealth nations, connecting commerce, media, and financial services for businesses and individuals in those markets.

CWU is the network's native token, built on Solana. It is designed to support cross-border settlement, pay for access to network services, and enable governance participation, with the project describing plans to extend into verticals such as education, visa services, and hospitality. The token launched in 2025 as the on-chain layer for this network.
