什麼是 Nockchain？

Nockchain is a layer-1 blockchain that secures its network using zero-knowledge proof of work. Instead of hashing random values, miners compete by computing zero-knowledge proofs of a set computation, and the hash of each proof becomes the block nonce. The aim is to tie mining effort to verifiable computation rather than raw energy use, with heavy work done off-chain and only the proof posted on-chain.

NOCK is the native asset of the Nock ecosystem, used to reward miners and account for value on the network. It was fair-launched in May 2025 with no pre-mine, and the total supply is capped at 4,294,967,296 NOCK.

Nockchain is a young project, and zero-knowledge proof of work is an early and experimental approach to consensus. As with any new layer-1, the network, tooling, and ecosystem are still developing.
