什么是Orca？

Orca is a decentralized exchange 和 automated market maker built on Solana, where trades run against pooled liquidity instead of a traditional order book. It is one of the earlier exchanges on the network, and its main product, Whirlpools, uses a concentrated liquidity model that lets providers commit capital within chosen price ranges to earn a larger share of trading fees.

The ORCA token launched in 2021 and serves as the protocol's governance asset. It has a capped supply and gives holders voting rights in the Orca DAO, where proposals about how the exchange operates are decided. Liquidity providers can also earn ORCA along with a portion of trading fees.

As an established Solana exchange, Orca's activity is tied to demand for on-chain trading on that network. You can track the Orca price and hold ORCA in a self-custody wallet.
