It supports several auction formats, including fixed-price, English, Dutch, sealed-bid, and random-selection sales, giving projects different ways to distribute assets on-chain.
AUCTION is the protocol's native token. It is used for governance, can be staked to earn rewards from the ecosystem's products, and pays for certified listings. AUCTION is an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, and the project was founded in 2020, with a V3 release in 2023 that reworked the platform. As a community-governed protocol, decisions over the protocol rest with AUCTION holders.
