BOLD คืออะไร?

BOLD is a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin issued by the Liquity V2 protocol on Ethereum. It is designed to hold a value close to one US dollar while being fully on-chain and backed only by crypto collateral, with no reliance on banks or off-chain assets.

To mint BOLD, users lock ETH or liquid staking tokens such as wstETH and rETH into a position called a Trove and borrow against it, choosing their own interest rate. The system stays over-collateralized, and BOLD is always redeemable for a matching dollar value of the underlying collateral, minus fees. BOLD launched in 2025 as the centerpiece of Liquity V2, alongside revenue sharing for stakers of the separate LQTY token.

As with any stablecoin, the peg can move during market stress, so check the current rate before relying on it.
