Arbitrum คืออะไร?

Arbitrum One is a Layer 2 network that runs on top of Ethereum to make transactions faster and cheaper. Built by Offchain Labs, it uses an optimistic rollup design: it bundles many transactions, executes them off the main chain, and posts the results back to Ethereum for final settlement. That keeps fees far lower than transacting directly on Ethereum while still inheriting Ethereum's security. Arbitrum One launched in 2021, alongside a sister chain, Arbitrum Nova, aimed at high-volume activity such as gaming and social apps.

ARB is the ecosystem's governance token. Distributed by airdrop in March 2023, it handed control to the Arbitrum DAO. Holders use ARB to vote on protocol upgrades, treasury spending, and the Security Council, rather than to pay gas, which is paid in ETH. Total supply is fixed at 10 billion.

ARB is an ERC-20 token issued on Arbitrum One, with a bridged version reachable on Ethereum. You can follow the Arbitrum price and keep ARB in a wallet where you hold the private keys yourself.
