Veloとは何ですか？

Velo (VELO) is the token of the Velo project, which builds blockchain-based payment and asset-transfer infrastructure aimed at connecting traditional finance with Web3. Velo Labs launched the project in September 2020, with a focus on cross-border payments, settlement, and related financial services for businesses and individuals.

VELO is a utility token used to transfer value across the Velo network and to support stable settlement between participants. It also acts as collateral within the system and as a requirement for taking part in the wider Velo ecosystem, which extends into areas such as cross-border payments and real-world asset tokenization.

The token launched on the Stellar network and has since expanded to other chains, including BNB Smart Chain, so the same asset can move across more than one network. Velo's direction is tied to adoption of its payment corridors and partner integrations.
