Harmony چیست؟

Harmony is a layer 1 blockchain that is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, so developers can deploy Ethereum-style smart contracts and applications on it. Its design centers on sharding, which splits the validator set and the network state into parallel groups so transactions can be processed at the same time rather than one queue at a time. The goal is faster confirmation and lower fees than running directly on Ethereum.

The network uses an Effective Proof of Stake consensus that spreads stake across validators to encourage decentralization, with around two second finality. ONE is the native coin: it pays transaction fees, is staked to secure the network, and is used in governance. Harmony launched its mainnet in 2019.

As an established but competitive layer 1, Harmony's activity depends on the developers and users building on it.
